Biography
Abdullah Ellaithy is the Founding Partner of Ellaithy & Partners and a corporate legal adviser with more than 14 years of experience advising startups, established companies, investors, shareholders, and management teams on corporate law, governance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and business risk.
He has contributed to legal work relating to projects and transactions with an aggregate value exceeding EGP 1.3 billion. His practice focuses on structuring businesses and investments, strengthening corporate governance, negotiating complex commercial arrangements, and helping clients navigate regulatory and operational challenges in Egypt.
Abdullah works closely with founders, boards, senior executives, and external stakeholders to develop practical legal strategies that support business objectives while protecting the client's legal and commercial position. His experience includes corporate restructurings, shareholder arrangements, investment transactions, international partnerships, corporate finance matters, commercial contracts, and ongoing legal-risk management.
As Founding Partner, he leads the firm's strategic direction and maintains direct senior involvement in significant client engagements, ensuring that legal advice remains clear, commercially informed, and aligned with each client's wider objectives.

- Master of Laws in International Business, Trade and Tax Law, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
- Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law.
- Postgraduate studies through the National Institute of Intellectual Property in association with the European Union.
